What is The Universal Cavalier magazine?

The Universal Cavalier is the magazine for Cavalier King Charles Spaniel lovers worldwide.  It focuses on Cavaliers and the people involved in the breed.  Each issue contains a variety of original articles from breeder profiles, Cavalier artwork, historical articles, veterinarian articles, articles by breeder/judges, Cavalier Clubs news and events, current news from around the Globe and more.

Where can I view The Universal Cavalier?

The Universal Cavalier magazine can be viewed by subscription.  Just click here to subscribe.

How Much?

The subscription fee is $35 (Canadian dollars) which includes 6 new issues as well as up to 6 back issues which remain on the site for subscribers to view 24/7.

How is The Universal Cavalier different from a ezine, online newsletter or website?

For all intensive purposes The Universal Cavalier looks like a traditional print magazine but it is produced in digital format, which is becoming the most popular method for many to publish and view magazines.  You change pages just like a regular magazine only using your mouse or keyboard.  The magazine is also available in PDF for those with a slow connection.  Also unlike most internet publications it is also a full magazine with indepth articles and profiles.

Can I see samples?

To see what the magazine format looks like check on our current ads page under the Ads section or visit our sister magazine Dog Gone Art  to see sample pages of that magazine.

·         There is no waiting for the mails!  Most issues are published and available to be viewed by subscribers by or before the 15th of the month an issue is due out.

·         The magazine is all in colour and contains many beautiful pictures and graphics.

·         There is a shorter publishing period than in a regular magazine so all news is very current.

·         Advertisers can update their ads within a week of the magazine being published.

·         Advertising costs are lower and all in colour.

Can anyone not view this magazine?

The interactive magazine is heavily graphic and so is not recommended for those on dial up due slow download times.  However the PDF magazine is designed to be downloaded for even those with the slowest connection or for those using Apple devices which don't support Flash.
